Dr. Herman Bekker
Dentist
Originally from the Eastern Cape, Dr. Bekker returned to take over Dentists at Health Summerstrand in 2022 after the passing of the beloved Dr Frik Claasen.
Dr Bekker qualified at University of Pretoria in 2016 and continued to complete his postgraduate certificate in Oral Implantology in 2017. He then obtained 2 more postgraduate diplomas, one in Prosthodontics at the University of Pretoria in 2020 and the second in Laser Dentistry at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany in 2022.
He will complete his third postgraduate diploma in 2023 in Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of the Western Cape.
Passionate about dentistry he follows a comprehensive and modern approach to dental care. This ensures long-lasting results and many happy smiles. He will be able to help with any advanced and general dental needs.
When he is not working, he loves traveling and exploring new destinations with his lovely wife. His other interests are aviation, photography, outdooring and fly fishing.
Dr Helena Naude
Dentist
She joined Dr Bekker in October of 2022. She qualified as a dentist in 2001 at the University of Pretoria. She is currently busy with a postgraduate in Fixed Orthopaedics and Orthodontics.
When you visit our practice, you will always hear a gracious laugh resonating from her room. She has a passion for paediatric dentistry and general family dentistry.
In her spare time, she loves being in nature, cycling, hiking, reading and spending time with her two wonderful children.
Tilla Nell
Oral Hygienist
She is our amazing oral hygienist. She has been with the practice for many years and is a familiar face in Summerstrand. She is passionate about oral hygiene and teeth whitening treatments.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her children and cycling.
